    The high-level services are the basic service, game camera service and our customized personalized service.  We are providing intel that will boost your confidence as you head into your hunt.  Our goal is to enable you to hunt more and scout less.

  • Our expert big game scouting services will provide you with the necessary intel to give you a head start when your hunt begins.  We will provide a detailed scouting report that includes terrain features, water locations, access points to areas, road conditions, possible glassing locations, animal sign and routes, camping locations, pictures and waypoints.  In addition, Boots on the Ground will provide hunt plan recommendations and strategies to better equip you for your hunt.

  • Boots on the Ground will provide maps, waypoints and travel routes that we use during your experience with Boots on the Ground scouting services.  We will provide all intel gathered so you have it at your disposal.

  • Each client has a different definition of success.  Our goal at Boots on the Ground is to do all the scouting for you so you can focus on the hunt and have memories to last a lifetime.  Our success rate is measured by our clients’ hunt experience.

  • Boots on the Ground scouting services provides data unique to each client.  Our big game scouting data is a mixture of experience of the area and physical boots on the ground intel gathered from the agreement made with each of our clients.  Therefore, all information provided to the client is as updated and recent as it possibly can be.

  • Boots on the Ground only provides scouting services.  We expect the client to use our intel to help them with their hunt.

  • Boots on the Ground will provide all scouting data prior to your hunt.  If a client does have follow-up questions we will do our best to accommodate but we will not provide physical in-field support during a hunt.

  • No, Boots on the Ground only provides scouting services.

  • Boots on the Ground will provide scouting services to any units in the state of Colorado as well as Southern Wyoming and Northern New Mexico.

  • Boots on the Ground Scouting Services are provided only for public land.

  • Pressure varies by unit and location within the unit.  This is one of the data points Boots on the Ground Scouting Services can gather for you if you wish to use our services.

  • Scouting is indeed legal and Boots on the Ground will comply with all rules and regulations set in each state that we provide scouting services in.

  • Restrictions vary by state, and typically, outside of game camera intel, there are no other restrictions with providing scouting intel during a hunt.  Any restrictions about the types of intel that can and cannot be gathered during a hunt will be followed to a tee by Boots on the Ground. 

  • Yes! Here at Boots on the Ground, we are extremely passionate about conservation, public land, and fair chase.  We will not take part in any action that would jeopardize any of these.

    The goal of Boots on the Ground is to offer boots on the ground scouting for your big game hunt at a price that is lower than the costs incurred if one had to travel out and scout themselves.  We understand time is valuable and we are trying to give you more time for your hunt!

  • The cost for Boots on the Ground services is a one-time fee.  Any time you want to use Boots on the Ground scouting services for your big game hunts we will collect payment for the agreed upon service.

  • Boots on the Ground provides scouting and observational services only. No guarantees, representations, or warranties are made regarding:

    • Animal sightings

    • Animal presence or movement

    • Hunt success or harvest outcomes

    • Shot opportunities or animal behavior

    You acknowledge that wildlife is inherently unpredictable and that no scouting service can guarantee results. The success or failure of any hunt is solely the responsibility of the client.

    The absence of animals, lack of activity, or unsuccessful harvest during a hunt shall not constitute a failure, breach, or deficiency in the Services provided.

  • Once you know where you want to hunt or get your tag, Boots on the Ground recommends that you book scouting services. 

  • Boots on the Ground never stops learning.  There are always data points that can be collected no matter how far out a hunt is.

  • No.

  • Absolutely!  Once you are interested in Boots on the Ground Scouting Services you can reach out and set up a free consultation.  This is where we can get to know you and your goals for your upcoming big game season.  We will work out a boots on the ground scouting package that is personalized for you and your goals.

  • Absolutely!  These are all things that are provided to our clients in the detailed scouting report provided after boots on the ground scouting is completed.

  • Boots on the Ground will provide recommendations based on the results of the scouting services and the data collected.

  • Boots on the Ground does not provide a personal scout during a client’s hunt.  The client is free to reach out with questions but there is no guarantee from Boots on the Ground that we will respond in a timely manner, especially since we will likely be out hunting as well!

  • No, Boots on the Ground does not provide real-time updates.  All collected data will be provided to the client once the boots on the ground scouting services are complete.   However, the data provided to the client is designed to provide beneficial knowledge during a hunt.

  • Boots on the Ground will provide a detailed scouting report once scouting services are complete.  The report will provide key information including, but not limited to: terrain features, water locations, access points to areas, road conditions, possible glassing locations, animal sign and routes, camping locations, pictures and waypoints.
